2015 Elizabeth was commissioned by Burghley Horse Trials to paint two comemmorative portraits of the event horse 'Avebury' for both his rider Andrew Nicholson, and owners Rosemary and Mark Barlow. Avebury and Andrew won at Burghley for the third time in 2014 and are the first horse and rider combination ever to have won an FEI 3 day event, three years in succession and so are fitting recipients of this honour. Sadly the pair were prevented from making a 4th attempt on the title the following year, when Andrew sustained serious injuries in a fall. It was then decided to retire Avebury from competition and sadly in 2016 the horse had to be put down due to a malignant and untreatable tumour in his jaw. .

February 2011 We have now updated several of our print sections, especially our Limited Edition Prints which now features several paintings of the Belvoir Hunt, so be sure to check out what is new there.
We have also done a few cosmetic tweaks to the site which we hope will make browsing easier for you!

August 2010 Elizabeth is now creating beautiful '"jewellery"' items from precious and semi precious stones and metals. She also uses beautiful handcrafted beads from a number of sources, and incorporates many of these into hand woven, beaded necklaces and bracelets. Elizabeth also uses her china painting experience to create porcelain and china pendants and beads, which are often beautifully embellished by 18k gold and 99/9% silver.

She is also keenly interested in Chain Maille which is created using different sized metal 'jump rings'. Elizabeth uses both silver and silver and gold plate as well as other variously coloured metals and copper, stainless steel etc. in her jewellery. She hopes to be able to offer chain mail designs for sale in kit form in the future, so that those amongst you who like to do their own creating, can try out this exciting new art form.

October 2007 - After 2 years of research and painting, and following her successful series of books on the US and German army units of WWII for international publishing company Osprey, Elizabeth is now about to publish her own book of illustrations entitled 'Images of the Waffen SS'. The 25 full colour plates in the book are printed on high quality art paper and illustrate in fantastic lifelike detail, some of the uniforms and insignia of the SS units from 1935-45. The American author, Gordon Rottman, well known for his immense knowledge of the German fighting units of WWII, has written a full page of information on the uniforms, units and insignia to accompany each of the plates, to make this a book for the serious collector.

Publication date is Nov. 20th 2007.
